For the past two years, we have had an innovative one-hour weekly radio show called Tomorrow's Dreams that promotes new, local to New England musicians. Our show features adult contemporary music - no rap or heavy metal. The show is carried on WATD FM 95.9 in Marshfield, Massachusetts- from 9 to 10 pm on Sundays.
As we contract the time from WATD and are not paid by the station, we are hoping you will consider helping us in this novel program by sponsoring our radio show for a 13-week period. Currently, there are no "New England talent only" radio shows. Not only will such a show afford a perfect opportunity for New England musicians to display their talent-and perhaps become discovered-we know that by focusing on New England musicians, we will attract a large New England listening audience of varied ages. The musicians being spotlighted serve as direct marketing for the program by telling everyone they know to listen to the show. Since we have seven to ten different acts each week, we are assured of a captive audience. In addition to our local listening audience, our show receives national exposure as it streams live on WATD's worldwide website: www.959watd.com
We
also have our own web site. We record our show and archive it on the web page.
Any one can go to the site 24 hours a day, and hear the
show. Your ad will be available 24 hours a day. Our web page has been averaging 1000+ hits a day.
As
a local business, sponsoring our radio show will not only
result in maximum exposure to your local marketplace and
potential customer base but will make smart use of your
advertising dollars. Our current rates are $20 for a weekly
30-second spot, and $35 for a weekly 60 second spot. A 13-week
contract would be $260 for 30 seconds; $455 for 60 seconds
Signing
a 13-week contract will entitle you to have an ad on our
web site, included at no extra charge.
